Esther Fernandez Rosario

Executive Director

Esther Fernandez Rosario is excited to join Rangeley as the new Child Care Center Director. With a background in early childhood and elementary education, Esther has worked as both a classroom teacher and a school leader, specializing in social-emotional learning, family partnerships, and creating nurturing environments where children thrive. A graduate of Bowdoin College, she has experience mentoring educators, supporting literacy initiatives, and collaborating with families from diverse backgrounds.

Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Boston, Esther has lived in Maine on and off for several years and recently moved to Rangeley with her fiancé and their two cats. She brings not only her professional expertise, but also her warmth, creativity, and dedication to helping children grow, learn, and feel a true sense of belonging in their community.

Haley LaPointe

Head Teacher

Haley is excited to learn new things and help make Rangeley an even better place. She loves getting to know families and kids, and she can’t wait to build friendships while we all grow together.

Katelyn Cerminara

Katelyn loves helping people and being part of her community. At the center, she’s always ready to lend a hand, share a smile, and make sure everyone feels cared for.

Corinne Morton

Corinne enjoys spending time with children and helping them be their true selves. She loves seeing kids laugh, play, and discover what makes them special.

Sherry
Sherry brings valuable experience from her work as a school bus driver and a substitute teacher with the Rangeley Lakes School, where she has built strong relationships with children and families. She enjoys creating engaging, developmentally appropriate activities and is committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. Sherry is excited to contribute to the Rangeley community in a new way.

Nathan is excited to join the Rangeley Child Care Center after spending several years getting to know and love Rangeley. He brings experience working with children through youth ballet and summer camp leadership, where he learned to create warm, engaging spaces for kids to learn and feel comfortable. Nathan looks forward to supporting local families and helping the center grow.

Maria
Maria has made Rangeley her home for the past year and a half. She brings experience caring for children of many ages. Maria is eager to continue growing in the child care field and she is deeply motivated to contribute to the community that she and her baby daughter, Francesca, are now part of. Building relationships with local families is important to her, and she looks forward to supporting children with warmth, dedication, and care.
